Erneuerung des Taufversprechens bei der Firmung
Im Rahmen der Firmung wird das Taufversprechen erneuert. Und das funktioniert folgendermaßen (GV = Generalvikar, F06 = Firmlinge 2006):

Liebe Firmlinge!
Im Gedenken an die eigene Taufe sollt ihr nun das Taufversprechen erneuern, das einst eure Eltern und Paten für euch abgelegt haben.
So frage ich euch:
Widersagt ihr all dem, was euer Herz entfernt von der Liebe zu Gott, zum Nächsten und zu euch selbst?
F06: Ich widersage.
GV:
Widersagt ihr all dem, was euch hart und lieblos macht, womit ihr anderen schadet?
F06:
Ich widersage.
GV:
Widersagt ihr der Verlockung, oberflächlich zu leben und nur an euch selbst zu denken?

Ich widersage.

Glaubt ihr an Gott, der uns liebt und der will, dass wir einander lieben, der die ganze Welt geschaffen hat und uns die Verantwortung gab, darin in Frieden und Gerechtigkeit zu leben?

Ich glaube.

Glaubt ihr an Jesus Christus, der wie wir als Mensch gelebt hat, der für das reich Gottes eingetreten ist, der dafür gelitten hat und gestorben ist und der auferstanden ist?

Glaubt ihr an den Heiligen Geist, an die Kraft, die wir als Christen haben, die von Gott ausgeht und uns stärkt; daran, dass wir nicht alleine, sondern als Gemeinschaft der Christen leben; an die Vergebung der Sünden, die Auferstehung der Toten und das ewige Leben?
